Bryan is a native of Utah where he was raised on a farm in American Fork. He has always loved the outdoors and as a boy spent many hours in the mountains with his horse and dog. His parents were originally from Sanpete County where Bryan frequently spent time hunting and fishing.

He has always enjoyed painting and sculpting although, until his recent retirement to Spring City, was unable to devote much time to it. He works in many mediums but especially likes painting landscapes.

Bryan and his wife Dixie are the parents of four children.
