Cassandria was born in Canton, China. On her first Birthday, as was the custom, she was presented with a tray of common objects. It was believed that the items she selected would tell her parents the direction of her life. She reached for a bamboo brush, which meant she was destined for a life bound to painting or writing. Throughout her life she has nurtured her ambition to become a serious painter. She has earned a BFA at the University of Utah, studying with Paul Davis who has been an important influence. Over the years, she has grown to love the Utah landscape which was vastly different from the country of her youth. She has a home in Spring City where she finds inspiration in the open landscape. Cassandria was awarded honorable mention in the most recent Deseret News Landscape Show.
She is currently represented by Palmer's Fine Art and Alpine Gallery in Salt Lake City, and a member of Spring City Art in Spring City, Utah.
